The Alcoa City Center is an adaptive reuse of
the former Charles M. Hall School on a total of 16
acres located on Hall Road in Alcoa, Tn. The
55,000 sq ft facility will be available for office use
while the remaining acreage will be master planned
to include the option of office, restaurant, retail, or
office/warehouse space on a build-to-suit basis. Newly
constructed facilities will be designed to reflect
architectural elements of the original school, giving the
site an overall campus-like
atmosphere.
Originally constructed by Alcoa, Inc. in 1926, as the Charles M.
Hall School, later renamed the Alcoa Middle School; this well
built one level structure housed the education of over fifty
percent of Alcoa’s residents.
The Alcoa City Center is conveniently located 2.5 miles from the
Knoxville Metropolitan Airport, and .4 miles Springbrook
Corporate Center, and all area Industrial Parks. The University
of Tennessee is only 12 miles away. Maryville College is 2 miles
away from the Center on the main route to the Great Smoky
Mountains National Park.
The Center is accessible to all major business areas of the
county by four lane city and county roads. All the resources
your business need are available, high speed internet service,
all delivery and shipping services, a variety of restaurants,
hotels, several banks, city schools, childcare services, as well
as easy access to Interstate 140 connecting to Interstates 75
and 40.
